A Tryst With Destiny

I see my life presently standing at a this position and Whenever I look back into my life, I realise that there are a lot of events which happened and has led me to this point. Whatever name I give it - destiny, fate or karma, it doesn't matter. I like the word 'destiny' so I name it Destiny.
If from my present point, I look forward, it's all hazy and uncertain. I don’t know what my destiny will be. If someone could prophesy my destiny, I would not believe him because now I know that destiny can be changed until it is revealed. I am not waiting to meet my destiny, neither the vice - versa but one thing is sure - The tryst with destiny is certain.
The future is the only thing that's uncertain and this very uncertainty keeps us anxious to know as to what will happen next. My destiny is influenced by my actions, opinions, thoughts, ideas, gestures and a lot more and these are what will truly define my destiny. I can picture and hope for my destiny to a certain but my real fate will mirror my tryst with destiny.
At this point where I am standing right now, I know a series of choices and events have led me to this point. I do for what I want but I get for what my destiny decides. The choices that I have made have transformed into my destiny. I believe that my destiny can be changed until it’s revealed. I am out waiting to meet my destiny neither the vice versa but one thing is sure - the tryst with destiny is certain and is happening as we breathe.

Reality TV Shows

Welcome to the world of REALITY TV “SACH KA SAMNA” as they call…..(Hindi version of moment of truth)
I got really shocked on that day when I got the chance of witnessing this show, how RAJIV KHANDELWAL keeps on asking questions ( while seating in the hot seat) about personal lives of contestants, for which they are being paid with a high price money for each stage, show really did caught my interest as I was wondering to see how contestants were so comfortable in replying  questions which were being asked related to their personal life and being awarded for the correct reply with a definite amount of money depending upon the type of questions which would be  ultimately related to their personal lives which a common man would never imagine in his dreams to share in publics. It was really shocking to see how people could sell their emotions just to earn a heck lot of money!!!!!!!!But that’s the reality of these reality shows now days.
Be it a rivalry between the judges or back bitting among the contestants, these reality shows are really becoming the parts of our lives no doubt. The success of these shows lies on the pleasure and eagerness they provide to the audiences from the real life cum dramatic situation, which they provide in front of camera and is appealing to every viewers who witnesses it.
The concept of reality shows is not new in India. 10 years before the show named KAUN BANEGA CROREPATI hosted by BIG B came and it became such a big talk of the town that it became no.1 T.V.  Reality show within months breaking all records of TV shows ever produced giving directors and producers idea to work more on the “reality concept”. The concept of becoming millionaire in just 1 hour by answering ten questions appealed to every viewer’s heart. Since then the time has changed and that there are lots of such reality shows which has lined up in coming years.
But the main question now arises? How much reality these reality tv shows really possess now a days? I really feel that some reality shows would have got some reality hidden in them but the rest are all just a means to make money by the producers which gambles with the innocence of viewer’s who back home is unaware of gimmicks of the games being played by the producers back stage. How many of us are there who wouldn’t have witnessed a single reality show? The answer is sincerely “no” because every 3rd daily soap now is a reality show!
There is no unhidden fact that the Indian television has witnessed a whopping number of reality shows in past few years that are  being and have been being telecasted like Roadies, Indian idol, Dance India Dance, Kids Antakshari and many to name which are aimed to promote young talents of India, have topped the list recently in the reality shows. It would be fair enough to say that reality shows do have changed the entire picture of Indian television industry now as far as earning of more and more TRP’s is concerned among the tv shows, in order to remain in competition hence in that case safeguarding  the  audience interest which can be in any form is justified as far as the boundaries of social moral values is not crossed. Talking about the degree to which these reality shows promises to provide reality on TV, producers say “as far as the question of reality is concerned we are totally unbiased from our part, way the things go in front of the camera have nothing to do with our involvement and hence there is no element of doubt of the show being preset.
My general opinion-- I think if reality shows are gaining popularity day by day is so because ultimately it’s the viewers who are making it so. We are all educated and sound and hence have the common sense of judging the reality concerned with the particular reality show. I don’t find any wrongness or unfair on any ones part as far as what is being shown in TV as it is able to meet the expectations of healthy entertainment keeping in mind our socio-ethical boundaries and to that without hurting the sentiments related to ones caste, creed or community. Viewers should be selective in what to and what not to watch.
Tv critics says “there is no harm in growing rate of reality shows as long as they don’t possess any wrong attitudes towards society or create any sense of unrest among community that would result in any sort of tension in the society and hence are justified even if there is no element of reality related to it, the main aim should solely be to just provide interest to the audience under legal conditions”.
Recently there is a show of Rakhi Sawant “RAKHI KA SWAYAMWAR” which gained astonishing TRP 10  during its first week of telecast and was seen as the reality show in which Rakhi was undergoing a traditional grand wedding ceremony by  selecting the bridegroom of her choice out of seven young lads. The interesting ‘x-factor’ involved with this show that hold on every ones curiosity was that that this type of television-cum wedding was never being witnessed by anyone before which makes everyone eager to find out what’s  there in that. It didn’t took me more than few days to found out that there is no realness associated in that show when its first few shows were telecasted on TV and I expect everyone would have also sensed the same, as it was clear that if it would have been real then auditions would have been conducted many days before its shooting.  Every one knew that it was a full fledged publicity stunt by RAKHI apart from showing dramatic “rona-dhona” and “roothna manana” type “nautanki”, the reality was far miles to be found!!!!!!!
The melodrama or “nautanki” we say involved in reality shows are day by day becoming an all time success mantra in holding the nerves of every viewer. We can expect that there is a big empire of reality TV shows emerging in the forthcoming years which would be ruling the TELEVISION WORLD!!!

Give Respect and You will Be Respected

The word Respect has many dimensionalities in today’s world… It perceives different meaning for different individuals and the degree to which they value also varies from person to person.  But of-course the underlining fact still holds to be the universal truth that respect in todays is a key factor for one’s happiness and degree of self-esteem.
Respect unlike power and wealth can’t be forcefully acquired or stolen. It’s perhaps the only thing that anyone can earn from their good deeds. By “any” really means “any one”…  You don’t literally need to be wealthy or a Hot-shot, it’s something one earns by imprinting their impression on others.
There are various levels of respect. A child’s respect for its elders, a businessman’s or organization’s respect for its customer, respect in the society, and ever between two individuals who may be friends, partners, or may whatever relation be it… but it’s always a binary relationship. We adore our celebrities and sports stars and may be for some Politicians, it all depends on their deeds that leave an impression on us which culminates the sense of respect.
I was rather taken back from the fact comparing the sense of this term in the history and today’s world. All these thoughts started budding within me when I was watching some interview rounds of Roadies 6.0. It’s either the term respect that might have changed or associated with fame in today’s youth, or the mental persona of the youths is getting misleading for earning respect. You must have seen contestants stating this term “I can do anything to become a Roadie..Why?? I want to earn Respect and Fame to prove myself!!” What are you proving by doing random tasks!!! Hello wake up! If you have so much to prove and bubbling with energy why you don’t see today’s society which is suffering from numerous threats like corruption, poverty, unemployment, and the list can go on and on. Youth bubbling with such energy are required are required in today’s youth politics where one people like Rahul Gandhi, Sachin Pilot have at least taken a step for a positive change for the India of tomorrow. I’m not only enforcing on Politics… social service can be on any platform. There is immense opportunity to prove one’s self in whatever profession someone is. All it takes to strive for becoming the best along with how you have influenced others, from your persona. Being successful alone isn’t sufficient at all. If you are not a kind and fair with people you are dealing with, then you can’t earn Respect no wonder even if you become the President also.
Almost whatever publicity stunts we are seeing on the day to day life…may that Rakhee Sawant (It requires a full topic to describe her madness!!!) or and holy baba trying to grab attention are all examples of how respect in today’s world getting misleading with fame..
But even today as I mentioned earlier the Universal fact remains the same. Respect can be earned by giving respect first or making oneself respectable…that is by doing something which benefits others. “So Give Respect and u will be Respected”.

Does selfless love exist???

Selfless love---Now the meaning of love has seriously changed, now it’s all about me or you. It’s never about us. People have changed and so have the love too. Everyone in my college say dude I love her. I feel like saying them go to hell. I know they will never going to marry that gal or that gal will marry him. May be you can I think am very much conservative types but I am not. The only selfless love which I have seen in my whole life is the one which your parents have with you. It’s so divine and pure. They love you unconditionally. They don’t expect anything from you. The only thing which they want is that you should be happy.
Our mother nature is one of the examples of selfless love. She serves our most of the needs but we humans are just creating more pollution and affecting her. Dolphins are one of the magnificent creatures, so lovely, beautiful and friendly in nature. But after what we humans have did in Denmark, I feel ashamed of ourselves that we are humans. Humans are the most intelligent creature in this planet and we are the only once who are killing them, shame on us. See this link
You all will come to know what I am exactly talking about.

The Elephant And The Dargon

Elephant and the dragon- really a strange topic. It took several days for me to complete  this article..I was thinking what shall I write for this topic. But recently i came to know about the book "The Elephant and The Dragon" by Meredith. In this book Meredith has brought out a positive picture of India in light of democratic status of the nation. She talks of jumping points for India and at the same time has highlighted china's economic prosperity disguise.
So I decided to  write on this topic by assuming India as an Elephant And China As A Dragon.
India a democratic country got its freedom in 1947 and China tasted his freedom in 1949, two years after us. But when we talk about the economic growth, China is at a very high position w.r.t India, although she lies below china but India is at the most crucial position (w.r.t to HDI and Energy Consumption.  India lies at the edge of the slope on the graph plotted between these two variables).
India and China both are giant countries in terms of population. India is a democratic country whereas China has communist rule over there. In India people are enjoying a lot of freedom and in China people are dying to express their views but they can't. China stands at the 2nd position in the list of world's leading exporters with total value of $1428.3 billions whereas India is at 27th position with a value of $177.5 billion. Well I guess elephant is very big in size but in case of exports….India is not an elephant. Talking about the technologies China is far ahead of us. Many people might not know that China is developing a nuclear fission and fusion combo nuclear plant, this will really help in cutting down their emission and will lead them to a new era of green technology. And in India our govt is still thinking what steps we have to take. Thats the biggest problem with democracy, we can't come quickly to any decision. Take the issue of this women bill only. Whole govt system is on a big shame side. People are just fighting, someone wants it and some don’t want to get the bill passed. I never heard about riots in China but in India its very common. People are dying for creating new states in India. Although i have given the title elephant as India but it seems Indian crowd is no less than a dragon. Everyone has fire in their mouth. Taking the case of Godhra Kand in Gujarat, still i am not able to find out the reason WHY AND HOW PEOPLE CAN TURN UP LIKE THIS. Its insanity. Well at last I would like to say India being an Elephant have very low phase but has the capability of fighting with anyone. And Dragon "China" has immense power stored inside her and when someone will do something against her, she can really show what she could be.
